At Norrmejerier, you will find the funniest summer job in Norrland! We are now looking for summer substitutes for several departments at the Umeå dairy. If you are interested in food production where high technology, craftsmanship, and innovation go hand in hand, your summer job could be at Norrmejerier!

Information about the positions

At the Umeå dairy, we refine the northern Swedish milk raw material into a wide range of world-class dairy products. The tasks within production mainly involve monitoring the production process and ensuring that machines and equipment are functioning. In the cold storage, your tasks mainly consist of picking and sorting goods for our customers. An important part of the job is to identify and solve technical faults and to contribute to continuous improvements in the production process.

The work involves shift work and lasts for about 10-14 weeks during the period of May to August, depending on the department. Depending on the training time in the department, training may be relevant in March-April.

We are looking for you

You who are applying have at least a high school education, preferably in process/technology/mechanics or a natural science education. It is an advantage if you have previously worked in the process industry, preferably with pharmaceuticals or food, and if you have good knowledge of hygiene regulations within the food industry.

A forklift license is an advantage as it may be included in the position. Work in production and cold storage requires good physical condition as the tasks involve both lifting and manual work.

As a summer substitute with us, you need to have a good command of Swedish in both speech and writing.

Due to safety regulations, we require that you are over 18 years old.

As it is difficult to get bus connections to the dairy, it is an advantage if you have a B driver's license, but it is not a requirement.
